Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains what personal information the World NCD Action Forum (WNCDAF, “we”) collects through www.wncdaf.org, why we collect it and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you use the enquiry form, we receive the details you enter: your name, organisation, email address, the topic you choose and your message. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Visitor statistics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s session storage only to remember that you have already seen the opening animation, so it is not shown again on every page. This information stays on your device and is deleted when you close the browser tab.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation you started.
- To arrange partnerships, faculty roles, events and media requests you have asked about.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the website and handle enquiries, such as our website host (Cloudflare), our form service and our email provider. They may process it only on our instructions.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where your information is stored
Our service providers may store and process information in countries other than your own. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and security safeguards to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any work that follows, and for up to two years after our last contact with you. We then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it or to stop using it. You can also withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, contact us through the Contact page.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
This website is intended for adults and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Other websites
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle personal information, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
